Sure there is the DSMC2 sidekick, which offers intuitive and integrated control over critical camera parameters and provides full access to basic and advanced menus by rotate dial and functions buttons. There is nothing like pressing a physical button in order to activate camera functionalities. But try to use it in the field when there are sunlight and other harsh conditions, and you will see that controlling your camera via touchscreen is a true struggle. Touchscreen is much more efficient in controlled environment.
